Life is in an accelerated state of fluid change these days courtesy of the internet age and the economy.Reinvention is no longer an option but a necessity simply to keep pace with our fast changing world. Fortunately you're
built to evolve! Static self perceptions and approaches, however, severely hamper your ability to flow with the tide of change.
Whether you need to reinvent your lifestyle, career or your approach to your present work or business, these steps will
psychologically prepare you for successful reinvention.

The Mental Keys Necessary for Successful Change
Presented hereare 4 essential secret steps to successfully reinvent yourself. Why are they called "secret steps" Because they are the unstated
psychological steps that enable successful follow through on any practical methods you engage. Let's face it, all the practical advice
in the world won't help if you're not in the proper "head space" to be motivated to engage it. You
can find practical steps in books and all over the internet but rarely will you find the psychological processes that
enable practical steps to succeed. Here's the psychological leverage to greatly increase the success of your personal, career or business
reinvention.

The need to change because of circumstances, i. e. , un- or underemployment, lack of business, boredom, etc. goal setting is a great catalyst however the mind has a natural resistance to change because it threatens
familiarity. By mentally making the decision to step outside of your comfort zone rather than remaining unconsciously in a state
of begrudgingly "having to" gives the mind traction the moment you're faced with an unfamiliar task that triggers resistance. Because
you've already mentally decided to tread the road less traveled you're psychological prepared when inevitably faced with the unfamiliarity of
your new direction or approach.

Inevitably your mind is going to get overloaded as it is absorbing the new
information your reinvention course of actions elicit comfortzone. Each morning before engaging the day spend 3 to 5 minutes
in a semi-upright position with eyes closed breathing normally, but consciously. Release the tongue, jaw and shoulders (areas where tension
is held) as you're taking your conscious breaths and mentally remind yourself that your body and mind is intuitively ready
for change and the opportunity for growth. This assist with releasing the daily stress accumulated from the anxiety of moving
out of your comfort zone.

Don't allow the ego to confuse doggedly working on your task as productivity;
often times this mindset produces more stress than progress. Sanction breaks as a way to work smarter rather than harder.
Periodically take intentional moments to perhaps step outside into fresh air or pet your four-legged friend(s) or feed your birds.
Avoid making social phone calls or watching TV during your periodic breaks as these activities tend to become preoccupations rather
than resetting moments from your intended focus.

stop procrastinating This step is similar to the Decision Stepin that you want to decide upfront that you are going to have patience with your learning curve as your
reinvention leads you into unfamiliar territory. Deciding to have patience (and frequently reminding yourself of this) is sort of like
an insurance policy; you are insuring that your bouts of exasperation - and you will have them with any new
endeavor - are minimized because you've already maturely decided to be patience with your learning curve.
